Wicker (2026)

Storyline

In a small seaside village ruled by rigid traditions and social expectations, a lonely fisherwoman is constantly mocked and rejected by the people around her. Tired of being judged for remaining unmarried, she decides to take matters into her own hands.

She commissions a local basket maker to create her a husband entirely out of wicker. What begins as an unusual attempt to escape the village's expectations soon becomes something extraordinary when the wicker husband comes to life.

His devotion and affection toward his new wife spark jealousy, outrage, and chaos throughout the conservative community. As the villagers struggle to accept their unconventional relationship, the couple must fight against a society determined to decide what love and marriage should look like.
